Monday and Today we took a couple to Grace Community Church to get food…the cost of the taxi ride was $42 round trip…we decided to help them out by charging only $10 round trip on both days
Yesterday we got a call from a gentleman who was impressed with our website. We gave him a ride that came to $9…He gave us $40 and asked us to help the next person who needed help. Well it so happen the next person did need help…a woman and two children needed a ride to school to register her kids. At first we were going to get them drinks and snack but after talking to her decided to give her $20 and we did.
A person walked to town and became ill while there and called us to take them home. We waived the $4 charge for the ride home.
The person we picked up at the hospital wearing hospital socks and robe gratefully paid for a ride today and also paid for the food and ride home from the hospital that was given freely a couple of weeks ago.
We have given several rides to 3 individuals for the last month or so. One is a professed drug addict. Another maybe does but won’t mention it and the other seems clean. We professed our hope in the Lord Jesus with them and Stan Jackowski Conference to their cell phone. They are eager to hear more. The conference call recording, The Salvation Experience, created on 7/10/2017 has been made available for dial-in access.

There is an individual we know who lives in Marion. He has requested rides frequently and has paid faithfully. But we saw him walking a long distance from his apartment at the last week of July. He is on disability, we learned, and probably on a fixed income and we think he just did not have the money to call us. If we could have notified him that there has been donations we could have given him a ride.
We recently helped a person who came out of the hospital emergency room wearing hospital socks and and robe. He said there was very little food in his house and he had no money to buy any or pay for the ride. We got him some sandwich food and milk for $8 and waived the ride home which was $9
