Let it be known that Debbie and I enjoy helping “others” regarding our ministry division.  However, honoring every request is not always fulfilled.  The reason being is that sometimes our physical, mental, or financial abilities limit us as to what we can do.  Therefore, we have put some guidelines in place and so here are the points we stress:  1.  We DO NOT loan money to be paid back at a later time or date.  2.  We DO NOT run errands either paid or free.  3.  The emphasis is for persons who have paid and ridden with Debbie and I so we can get to know them.  It is certain that we have been blessed with the taxi business but on the other hand we are by no means rich or well-to-do.  Therefore, we reserve the right to fullfill or deny requests for help.  We also ask for cooperation with these guidelines.

We had to pay out almost $600 in the last two days for car repair and registration!  Expenses do come to everyone but, it is one of God’s ways to keep us in check and test our faithfulness with Him.  When He sends us to do a certain task He has promised to equip us to complete it (Eph. 4:7-16).  Just remember that we are wonderfully and marvelously made and in His tri-part-tite image are we made.

We have been giving a ride to a person for the past few months who loves the Lord and puts trust in Him.  Their trust was founded when they moved from a shelter to a place of their own.  We continue to give this person a ride to work even though it is very early in the morning, less distance because of the move, and sometimes six days a week… NOT because it’s about the money we make, but about the person we give a ride to.  We are grateful that this person always has a cheerful greeting and goodbye with us and has never failed to pay the bill to help us with expenses.

We received a $5 donation this morning from a cashier at a popular store in town.  We paid it forward to a couple of persons who ride with us regularly to work.  These persons work 7 days a week getting only one check for the two of them and still struggle to pay for the taxi ride.  Credit has been given to them many times in the past for the last few days before they get their paycheck.  They have always paid up their taxi bill.  They gratefully accepted the $5 off.

We gave a ride to a person who was released from the emergency room at about 1AM.  This person is very young…only 18 years old.  Injuries were sustained from wrecking their vehicle in what this person said was a very mind changing accident!  We witnessed with them sharing some snippets of the Gospel.  The accident made this person take a good look at their life and the future of it thereof because their life was almost shortened!  We received a generous tip because of their gratitude to God.
